Episode 24: On the Hook

An important set of questions about humanity arises when we look around and recognise: we are all failing to be the image bearers that God intended. We call this failure: sin, and in theology, it’s called “hamartiology”. Maybe you’ve heard the term “original sin”, “original guilt” or “total depravity”. Today, we’re going to ask: what does it mean to be fallen? What is total depravity? And why are we on the hook for Adam’s sin — in other words, for something we didn’t do?
